DAY OF THE UPPER NITRA REGION

The Bystričany Primary School and Kindergarten invites you to the cultural and educational event The Day of the Upper Nitra Region , which will take place on June 12, 2026 , starting at 3:00 p.m.
You can look forward to performances by regional artistic groups - the ANIMA music group, the KapeLLka music group, the ÚSMEV women's choir, and the Severka Theater.
The event will also include interesting expert lectures and discussions. The manager of FC Baník, Ján Hancko, will talk about the sports tradition of the region. A discussion with an autograph session and book sale with the writer and historian Prof. PaedDr. Gabriela Korimová, PhD is also planned. The highlight of the expert program will be a lecture by the prominent Slovak ethnologist PhDr. Katarína Nádaská, PhD., who will introduce the interesting facts about our traditions, customs and regional culture.
Various stations with activities will be prepared for children, through which they will learn about the history, traditions, customs, nature and other interesting facts of our region.
At the end of the event, there will be a rich raffle with attractive prizes and gift vouchers.
