Table tennis tournament for the Mayor's Cup

26th year of the tournament / January 3, 2026

On January 3, 2026, the 26th anniversary of the table tennis tournament for the Mayor's Cup of the municipality of Bystričany took place.
The tournament was divided into three categories: children's category, women's category, and men's category. A total of 13 children, 4 women, and 36 men participated in the tournament.
A friendly atmosphere, sporting spirit and especially good mood accompanied this entire enjoyable sporting event.

The results of the competitors were as follows:

children's category:

women's category:
1st place Kohutova Darina
2nd place Vöröšová Eva
3rd place Kertészová Zuzana

Men's category:
1st place Schvandtner Ján Jr.
2nd place Sukeník Martin
3rd place Laurinec Pavol

We are delighted that the tournament could take place again this year. We would like to thank all the tournament participants, fans, and the organizing team, and we are already looking forward to next year.
