May planting in 2024

With the arrival of May, the ancient custom of building a May tree, which is a symbol of the arrival of spring, renewed nature and love, came to us again. May building is a long-standing tradition in our village. This year, our skilled firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Department of the village in Bystričany once again set up May in front of the municipal office. As we could see for ourselves, planting May is not easy at all, but this year our firefighters did not disappoint and planted May brilliantly.

In the cultural program, children from the kindergarten performed under the guidance of its teaching staff, for which they deserve heartfelt thanks. In addition to the sun's rays, this pleasant afternoon was also accompanied by music performed by the local band Anima.

We believe that the tree decorated with ribbons, which symbolizes the health and beauty of girls and women in our village, will make you happy throughout the month.
