Christmas in the village of Bystričany 2019
Christmas in the village of Bystričany 2019 Santa Claus at the Christmas markets 2019 Dear friends, despite the fact that Christmas is every year, nothing can replace its enchanting charm... members tried to bring a piece of Christmas magic to all our fellow citizens on Saturday, December 14, 2019 of the cultural commission of the village together with our mayor, Filip Lukáč. They organized a small Christmas market with the arrival of Santa Claus and his helpers in the central zone of our village, near the beautifully lit tree. Despite the fact that the weather was not very kind to us, many children with their parents, grandparents, many citizens, friends and acquaintances participated in this space. Our mayor spoke to all the participants, gave a wink and wished people peaceful and happy upcoming holidays. Children from the local kindergarten performed and with a band of Christmas songs, carols and vinches, the folk ensemble Bukovinka from the nearby village of Radobica. Our citizens, representatives of social organizations from the village, the local elementary school, and guests from our region presented the work of their skilled hands at the sales stands. The offer included handmade products with a Christmas theme, baskets, trays, various Christmas decorations, textiles, crocheted ornaments, arrangements, candlesticks, wreaths, ikebana, but also handmade soaps and fragrances for wardrobes. There were sweet and savory Christmas wafers, tubes with flavors, honey, Christmas gingerbread decorated, filled and spelled, strudels of several flavors, sourdough bread, cheese products, Christmas punch, mead, mulled wine, baked sausage, cabbage, killer porridge and various sweets and snacks. Saint Nicholas also visited us. Two devils brought him along with a guardian angel and packages full of sweets on a beautiful sleigh with lights. Mikuláš also brought chocolate gingerbread to our seniors, citizens over the age of 80, which we distributed to them through the members of the social commission of the village. We were pleased that we gathered in large numbers and together in this time before Christmas we remembered basic human values such as family, friendship, love, understanding, sacrifice, respect and gratitude. Pleasant melodies and Christmas songs accompanied the Christmas atmosphere and good mood. Our dear... we wish you a beautiful and merry Christmas. May you find many gifts under the tree that will warm your heart and may you experience moments that you will always remember with a smile.
