Firemen's Day - holiday of St. Floriana

Firefighters are an integral part of our community. On behalf of all residents of Bystričia, we would like on the occasion of St. Florián - the patron saint of firefighters, to all the members of our Volunteer Fire Department of the village of Bystričany to thank and express our great respect for all their work and sacrifice so far for the benefit of our community and our fellow citizens. As a thank you from the residents of Bystričia, a statue of St. Florián - the patron saint of firefighters, who protects and watches over our firefighters before every trip. The statue was made by our native, artistic carver, Mr. Michal Barta.
