Christmas markets in the village of Bystričany and the arrival of Nicholas
December 7, 2024

On December 7, 2024, the village of Bystričany prepared Christmas markets in the park near the apartment buildings behind the local post office with the arrival of Santa Claus and a musical program, which included a Christmas concert by the well-known and popular singer Katka Koščová.
This event started with a performance by the Christmas band of children from the kindergarten and elementary school of our village. After their performance, Santa Claus arrived to us on a sleigh with his helpers, an angel and a devil, with whom we lit the Christmas tree together and gave out sweet candies and fruit to all the children who took part in this lovely event.
In the next program, the Borovienka band took care of making the Christmas atmosphere more pleasant, presenting their carols and other songs performed by them. Later, everyone present enjoyed a pleasant Christmas concert by the well-known singer Katka Kočšová and pianist Daniel Špiner, who accompanied her during the entire one-hour concert.
The event was full of magical Christmas atmosphere, good mood and tempting aroma of Christmas punch, which all the participants of this Christmas event could enjoy. There were beautifully decorated Christmas stands with beautiful Christmas decorations, decorations and toys.
We thank all citizens and visitors who came and created a pleasant Christmas atmosphere with their presence.
