Christmas time in Bystričany with the arrival of Santa Claus

We had a beautifully spent afternoon full of magical Christmas atmosphere and good mood during the event of the village of Bystričany called "Christmas time in Bystričany with the arrival of Santa Claus", which took place on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in the square in front of the municipal office.

The beginning of the program was taken care of by the restless snowflake Trblietka, who charmed all the curious children who came together with their families to see what the organizers of the event had prepared for them.

A pleasant Christmas atmosphere was also brought to us by our children from elementary and kindergarten, who prepared beautiful Christmas songs, during which many tears of happiness fell. A big thank you goes to all the teachers who worked hard to teach the children Christmas songs, which they sang and played for us in their Christmas band.

This was followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree, which lit up with the arrival of Santa Claus, angels and devils, who distributed healthy, sweet Santa packages to all the good children.

We heard a Christmas greeting from the musical group Black Band and from the folk music of Polianočka, performing Christmas songs and carols.

We also enjoyed the beautifully decorated Christmas stands with wonderful Christmas ornaments, decorations and toys.

The smell that spread around attracted all the participants to hot tea, punch, or the fragrant goodies that belong to the Christmas markets in our village every year.
