On February 21, 2026, an Evaluation Membership Meeting was held in KD Bystričany, opened by the Vice-Chairwoman of the ZO JDS, Marika Obžerová. She welcomed the guests, her members, and informed those present about the program, which was subsequently unanimously approved by the members of the organization. She also informed us about the membership records. In 2025, 5 members left their membership base, 2 members resigned for health reasons, and 11 new members joined the ZO. As of December 31, 2025, the ZO JDS had 147 members, and today the membership base is 146 members.
The evaluation report on the activities of the ZO JDS for the years 2022 to 2025 was presented by the chairwoman of the ZO JDS Anna Iliašová. The report was concise, in which she discussed the activities carried out in individual years. She thanked the mayor of the village, Mgr. Filip Lukáč, the municipal council and the employees of the OcÚ in Bystričany for the good cooperation and financial contributions allocated in individual years for the ZO JDS, for which members were able to organize bus trips, sports gatherings for seniors and St. Nicholas gatherings for seniors. She also thanked the individual sponsors, the ZO JDS committee and all members of the ZO who actively participated in any way in the work and activities held by the ZO JDS.
Next, the Report on Management and Budget Utilization for 2025 was presented, which was submitted by the Economic Officer of the JDS, Mária Wolfová, who also submitted a draft budget for 2026. Subsequently, the report from the Audit Committee for 2025 was presented, which was read by the Chairwoman of the RK, Mária Gelačáková -Gašparovičová. The Secretary of the JDS, Ms. Oľga Duchovičová, informed those present about the plan of activities for 2026.

Another part of the program was the act of rewarding. Letters of thanks were presented on the occasion of the life jubilee of 70 years for 14 members of the ZO JDS, 75 years for 6 members of the ZO JDS, 80 years for 4 members of the ZO JDS and 3 letters of thanks for 85-year-old members. Letters of thanks were also awarded to 3 members of the committee who are leaving the committee at their request. Chairwoman Anna Iliašová thanked the appointees for the work done for the benefit of seniors, there were bouquets of flowers and congratulations from the representative of the OO JDS Ing. Anton Špeťka and the mayor of the village Mgr. Filip Lukáč. Furthermore, commemorative letters were presented to the founding members, active members, the chairman of the OO JDS and the mayor of the village Bystričany.
Mgr. Filip Lukáč, the mayor of the village, appreciated the participation and activities of seniors in municipal events - participation in brigades, participation in cultural and social events organized by the Civic Association. In the next part of his speech, he congratulated our singing group Bystričianka on its 20th anniversary and thanked them for the prepared program and the ZO JDS committee for their active activity, and presented the members with a material and floral gift.
Ing. Anton Špeťko, chairman of the OO JDS – greeted the evaluation membership meeting on behalf of the OO JDS and wished our members a good meeting and supported the ZO for further activities. He also informed about the district membership base, about the events held within the OO JDS (sports Olympics, exhibition under the title "Creativity knows no age limits"), and about the assigned reconditioning stays within the OO JDS. At the end of his contribution, he thanked the ZO JDS for the invitation.
Pavol Pastierik thanked the committee members for the very good organization of this HČS and highlighted the very nice program prepared by the singing group led by Helena Kmeťová.
After the individual points of the program were approved, the vice-chair of the organization thanked those present for their participation. She wished everyone good health and joy in the circle of families and offered refreshments to those present on behalf of the organization.
