Christmas markets with the arrival of Saint Nicholas in Bystričany

This year, the pre-Christmas period was also made more enjoyable by the traditional event "Christmas Markets with the Arrival of St. Nicholas in the Village of Bystričany".
The village, in cooperation with the elementary school and kindergarten of Bystričany, the Volunteer Fire Department of Bystričany, TJ Dynamo Bystričany, and other friends, organized a pleasant meeting with a Christmas atmosphere and good mood in the amphitheater of our village.
This event started with a performance by a Christmas band from the kindergarten and elementary school of our village. After their performance, Santa Claus visited us again this year with his helpers, an angel and a devil, with whom we together lit a new Christmas tree, which was built by our skilled employees from the maintenance department.
The Bojnice Band, a brass band, also provided a pleasant Christmas atmosphere, performing a repertoire of their Christmas carols.
The event was filled with the tempting aroma of Christmas punch, which all participants of this Christmas event could enjoy. There were also beautifully decorated Christmas stands with wonderful Christmas ornaments, decorations, and products from our clever elementary school children.
We thank all the citizens and visitors who came and created such a pleasant Christmas atmosphere with their presence.
