Open Day in the school cafeteria

On February 2, 2026, an Open Day was held in the school cafeteria. which was intended for potential new boarders.

The aim of the event was to introduce the functioning of the school cafeteria, present its services, and create a space for open discussion.
The guests were welcomed by the school principal, Mgr. Marcela Meister, who thanked everyone present for their participation and introduced them to the event program. The program included an interesting lecture about catering in the past in Bystričany and the surrounding area.
A short thematic test was also prepared for visitors, thanks to which they could test their knowledge, and there was also a tasting of dishes from the school kitchen, where they had the opportunity to see for themselves the quality and taste of the prepared dishes.
The event was also graced by the participation of the mayor, with whom the functioning of the school kitchen, its financing, current issues, as well as plans for the future were discussed. The discussion brought a lot of stimulating information and suggestions for further development.
The Open Day was held in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere and provided visitors with a lot of useful information. We believe that the event contributed to a better awareness of the school canteen's activities and attracted new diners.
