October - the month of respect for elders

On the occasion of October, the month of respect for the elderly, on October 23, 2023, as every year during this period, we invited our citizens - senior citizens - to the cultural center of the village. We once again had the opportunity to show them our attention and respect through this nice meeting.

"Seniors can and want to play their role in our society. Enjoy a quality life and actively contribute to it. Exactly as it happens in our village. Dear our seniors, I wish you good health in the next years of your life, a lot of joy and satisfaction, a lot of smiles and laughter and as few gloomy and sad days as possible. After all, it is not for nothing that they say that you age more slowly with a smile. Therefore, let every single day of yours be filled with nothing but good mood and laughter. Even if sometimes they come and sad moments that are simply a part of life, overcome them calmly, handle them as best you can, and if you don't know how to deal with them, believe that we are here for you." said the mayor in his speech, Mgr. Filip Lukáč.

We wish our dear seniors only the best and thank the Baťovan troupe for a pleasant program.
