Chalmov street feasts

This year, neighbors, friends, and other citizens met on Gaštanova Street.

On Friday, July 24, 2026, the local part of Chalmová came alive with the traditional Chalmová Street Festival, which has already become an integral part of the summer life of our village. This year too, the event was marked by good spirits, friendly meetings and shared fun for all age groups.
Visitors could enjoy a rich program during a pleasant summer evening. Children were provided with face painting, horse-drawn carriages, cotton candy and popcorn. Adults were delighted with a tombola, homemade cookies, snacks, draft beer, kofola and other tasty treats.
Our DJ Majo ensured an excellent atmosphere throughout the evening, creating a pleasant summer dance mood with his musical selection until late in the evening.

The greatest value of the event, however, was once again the reunion of neighbors, friends, and families who spent time together in a pleasant atmosphere. Such community events strengthen interpersonal relationships, strengthen belonging, and prove that traditions have a strong place in our local areas.

We thank all the organizers, volunteers and visitors. We look forward to further meetings and believe that the tradition of the Chalmov Street Feasts will continue in the coming years.
