The Bystričany Village Days 2026 brought a day full of music, fun and shared experiences

The second weekend of August belonged to the traditional celebrations of the Village Day in Bystričany.

The second weekend of August belonged to the traditional celebrations of the Day of the Village in Bystričany. On Saturday, August 8, the amphitheater area in Bystričany was filled with residents, visitors, families with children and everyone who came to enjoy an afternoon and evening full of music, good mood, fun and social gatherings.

The program began with a performance by the local music group Anima, which created a pleasant atmosphere and opened a colorful Saturday afternoon. For children and the youngest visitors, the Magic Holly and the Sloth were prepared. There were also carousels, delicious refreshments, attractions and an accompanying program, which completed the atmosphere of the summer municipal event.

An important part of the program was the official opening of the Village Days and the presentation of the Bystričianske čtvrtlištek awards. The award is an expression of respect and gratitude to people who contribute to the life and development of our village with their activities, work, talent or commitment. This year, one of the important moments of the program belonged to people who deserve our recognition.

The afternoon continued with the rhythm of the Latino show La Soleada, followed by a performance by the band Huncúti, which brought a combination of folk and modern music.
As the hours passed, the atmosphere in the amphitheater became even more lively. The evening program culminated with a performance by Tomáš Bezdeda and his band, followed by a concert by Majself. Both performers attracted many visitors and provided an energetic conclusion to the main part of the Community Day. After the concerts, the fun continued until late at night under the baton of DJ Maja.

However, the village days continued on Sunday, August 9. The second day included the After Party at the Chalmová Thermal Spa, where DJ Milan Lieskovský created the atmosphere from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Bystričany 2026 Municipal Days have once again shown that municipal celebrations are not just about the program and performances. They are above all an opportunity to meet, talk to neighbors, friends and acquaintances, welcome visitors and enjoy memorable moments together.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the preparation and organization of the Bystričany Village Days 2026, performers, collaborators, partners, vendors, volunteers and everyone who contributed to the successful running of the event with their help.

A big thank you goes especially to you - the citizens and visitors, who created the right atmosphere and, with your participation, gave the Municipal Days their true meaning.
