Opening of a new section of the UPPER NITRA CYCLE ROAD

Come and open a new section of the Upper Nitra Cycle Route with us!

Jaroslav Baška, Chairman of the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, cordially invites you to the ceremonial opening of the new section of the Upper Nitra Cycle Highway on the Partizánske - Chalmová route, which will also be an opportunity to try out the green link on two wheels. We will cut the ribbon of this significant investment together on Monday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m. We will meet at the beginning of the section in Partizánske, at the Koliba Dolina in Partizánske. We will make a short stop approximately halfway through the route at a modern cycling rest area, which was also realized thanks to the project and will offer cyclists shelter from rain and sun. The green link will take us to the swimming pool in Chalmová, where a small snack will be prepared, as well as swimming for all who will complete the cycle ride with us. An investment of more than 2.4 million euros was also implemented thanks to funds obtained from the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic.
