Traditions have come back to life: Our village is decorated with a symbol of spring and love

The last evening of April in our village was marked by the awakening of nature and a return to the customs of our ancestors. On April 30, 2026, we came together to erect a symbol of spring - the traditional Maypole.
The little ones took care of the initial emotions and smiles on the faces of those present. The children from our kindergarten, under the guidance of their teachers, prepared a heartfelt cultural program. While singing folk songs and with childish joy, they even decorated their own little Maypole, showing that the love for traditions in our village grows from an early age.
The main point of the program was the construction of the large municipal May tree. This responsible task was traditionally taken up by our volunteer firefighters. Thanks to their strength, teamwork and meticulous work, the decorated tree soon proudly towered over our village. The whole event was accompanied by a pleasant atmosphere, which was provided by the local music group Anima.
We thank all the citizens who contributed to creating a great atmosphere with their participation.
We believe that this May will bring us joy throughout the month and remind us of the beauty of our traditions.
